The Woolf Institute

The Woolf Institute is an academic institute in Cambridge, England, dedicated to the study of relations between Jews, Christians and Muslims.〔http://www.woolf.cam.ac.uk/〕 It consists of the Centre for the Study of Jewish-Christian Relations (CJCR), the Centre for the Study of Muslim-Jewish Relations (CMJR) and the Centre for Policy and Public Education (CPPE). The Woolf Institute is named in honour of Lord Harry Woolf, former Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales〔http://www.faithcommunities.org.uk/5.html〕 and was founded by Dr Edward Kessler MBE.
The Woolf Institute is based in the Margaret Beaufort Institute and is a member of the Cambridge Theological Federation which brings together eleven institutions through which people of different churches, including Anglican, Methodist, Orthodox, Reformed and Roman Catholic, train for various forms of Christian ministry and service 〔http://www.theofed.cam.ac.uk/〕

The Centre for Jewish-Christian Relations (CJCR) was established in 1998 to further the academic study of Jewish-Christian relations throughout the ages.
Successful courses in the past include the Master of Studies (MSt) in the Study of Jewish–Christian Relations, a two-year, part-time University of Cambridge degree, offered by the CJCR in conjunction with the Faculty of Divinity and the Institute of Continuing Education.〔http://www.woolf.cam.ac.uk/cjcr/courses.asp〕
Currently the Centre runs a number of site-based and e-learning courses, including: "Jews, Christians and Muslims in Europe: Modern Challenges",〔http://www.cambridgetrusts.org/partners/woolf-institute/〕 a three-part e-learning course focusing on relationships between Jews, Christians and Muslims and their impact on modern Europe and an "Introduction to Judaism" for the Cambridge Theological Federation.
